Utes kick BYU to the curb

We had a lot of fun watching the Holy War yesterday. Micah and Sallie were so kind to let us crash their house and watch the game there. The Gali's came dressed in blue, but they ended up being the only ones. That is until Salle decided to have pity on them and wear a BYU sweater. We had some ono grinds (including manapua!), great cheers, and okole squeezing moments.
The bottom line... Utah 48 BYU 24. The Utes now are prepping to compete for a BCS bowl game. BYU competed well this season, but we're glad that Utah won. If you didn't know, Sape and I are alumni of Utah.
Here's some pictures thanks to Megan Iloa. First one is of Lilia Iloa. Megan made the cutest felt "U" hair clips. How's Wai's swim move! Rowdy bunch of friends.

Caught the Bug

Kari G. got me hooked on the coupon bug. I know, I know, coupons? Yea, I don't even like the thought of newspaper everywhere, clipping coupons, etc. But when Kari told me she could feed her family of 6 for around $200 per MONTH, I was like WHAT? If I can save money and use it somewhere else, I will. Why not put that extra couple hundred towards our Bahama vacation or my Roth IRA. Shoot, why would I pay full price when others are getting it for more than half off. That'd be stupid right?
Well, I ordered my multiple Sunday newspapers from my neighbor Nancy, went to Kari's and learned the tricks of the trade. My first week I went shopping at Walgreens, Smith's, and Albertson's. My total was $194. Well, I only paid $64!!! And everything is name brand stuff. We got so much for so little. For example, I went to Albertson's and my bill came out to $70. I only paid $9! Here's a picture of the stuff I bought at Albertsons.
If you live in Utah you have to use this system. If I can do it, so can you. Use the extra cash to fund your retirement, splurge on that special gift, or donate it to a worthy cause. Two of the websites I use are www.pinchingyourpennies.com and the other is www.grocerysmarts.com (use code G84CTB). Call me if you need help, but there are videos on youtube discussing how to work this system. Don't worry. It's pretty much free except for having to have newspaper. Good Luck!

Maybe it's that lucky jersey

We were kicking back talking about how silly the new Knight Rider show is and I wanted to change the channel, when this commercial popped up. We were like..."Hmm. This guy looks familiar." Ha! Ha! Sape is #93. Way to go hun!

Utah 13 TCU 10

Go Utes!! What a game!! The Utes trailed TCU 10 to 6 from the first quarter, but the Utes pulled it off in the last 48 seconds with a slant play into the endzone. The Utes are now 10-0 for the season.
Here's a pic with our friend's kids, Leina & Mana.

Frazzled

Halloween was so much fun. I have video clips to download, but I'm too frazzled to upload them tonight. Sape is snoring and I'm sitting here with the kitty cats wondering how the heck I'm going to get up at 7am for our 8 am training. Whew. I'm going to force myself to sleep. I wonder if I was bitten by a vampire or something. I don't get tired at night. It's only when the sun is up that I want to slip into bed and ignore the world. Anyone who knows me, knows that I need 7-8 hours of sleep or else.
Thanks Sallie for flat ironing my hair this morning. At least that's not frazzled.
