Change is constant

I figured out how to update my site with all those cool gadgets or "widgets." Widgets will be the hottest and trendiest word this year. It's like the word texting or 'im'. I think it's interesting to observe the new culture of X, Y, and Z generations. Now I can reminisce of my childhood and understand what our parents and gradparents must have imagined about the 70's, 80's, and 90's. The impression I have is that there are those of us who strive to preserve & honor the past by keeping things simple (live, laugh, love); then there are those who believe in just existing (trends, undecisive, immediate gratification). I believe we should have a tad of each, but always keep it simple when you don't know what to do. Follow the six Be's...Be Grateful. Be Smart. Be Clean. Be True. Be Humble. Be Prayerful. These Be's were spoken by one of my most favorite leaders...Gordon B. Hinckley.
As I started this post, I didn't know how deeply profund it would be. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts as Saint George sleeps (3:20am).
One of the things I know for sure...change is constant. "We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing"(R.Laing).

Queen of the Night

Last night I stayed up till 6AM! Doing what? I don't even know what. Half the time, I was surfing the web trying to verify how to set up a legal EIN# and tax-exempt account with the IRS and state of UT. If I lost you already, then that's how I felt trying to read the IRS web site.
The rest of my time was spent trying to figure out how to upload those cute blog backgrounds. I read instructions and tried different solutions, but no avail.

So after I woke up around 2pm, I cleaned very little, visited Anja & her boys, went grocery shopping, and then had dinner with Andresens, Iloas, and aunty Rhonda.

Send me suggestions on how to set up a legal tax-exempt account for Toni Kaonohi (brain tumor & stroke survivor). And how to set the background. I'm hoping Megan will just show me how.

Whew, it's 2:30 Am & I'm going to force myself to sleep a little earlier. Nighy night.

I started playing around with our video camera and windows movie maker. Thank you Megan for showing me some tricks. This is my first published and edited video. I even got it to upload to youtube! Stepping up. There's more to come once I figure this thing out. This video is based around out cute hanai nephew, Matai (Micah & Sallie Andresen's son). We love this big boy. Tommy & Megan Iloa's beautiful daughter Lilia is the featured mini star.

Aloha Family & Friends,

I caved in and made a blogspot. So many of you have your own spots and I love been updated on how your life is evolving. I hope I can keep my site as updated as yours. Here's our latest update:

Lauvale & I are enjoying the beautiful fall weather of Saint George. I can't believe we have a beautiful 4bd/2ba home, two cats, and a great future. We both love helping families by provinding sound and sensible financial services (make money/save money/protect your family. We're on track to be Regional Vice Presidents by next year and earning a six figure income! I've been busy with our business and have had to put scrapbooking on the back burner for now. I still love StampinUp and making crafts.

Lauvale is enjoying riding his new 250CC moped around St. George, being a physical trainer for friends, and being retired. Yes, I said retired. He helps with our business, but is planning to continue playing football till someone tells him "no can do." It looks like he'll be returning to the Colorado Crush to play arena football. We enjoyed it last season and we look forward to seeing old and new friends. Plus we want to build our business there too.

The current things that occupy my time (besides the business): setting up a fundraiser for Toni Kaonohi, seeing my chiropractor for spine/neck/shoulder pain, studying for my securities (investor) licenses.
