Big Things Happening

Wow! It's been super long since I updated the blog. We've been super excited and super busy for all the BiG things happening in our lives.
1) We MOVED! We packed our house up in 4 days and moved on up to Lehi. The house is being rented in Saint George to friends of ours and we're renting a townhouse in Lehi. Exit 282, East side, in Pheasant Grove. It's great!
2) We're making a move for RVP this winter! This is a big contract that'll mean a 6 figure income; not only that, that means our associates are cash flowing too & we're helping families! Love it.

3) Sape is going to play UFL in Vegas. It's a new league that just started. I'm hesitant because he's "old" in the football world and he's got enough injuries to be listed on a 50 year olds health chart. Mind you, he's only 28. He can't get football out of him yet. He loves staying in shape, competition, and the game. It'll be fun, but I ain't going with him. I get to build the business while he plays. Look for him this season!!

4) Sape is coaching at Saratoga Springs High School. It's a brand new school about 15 minutes away from us. His friend Jason Walker is coaching (a fellow MULE). Sape enjoys it, but he's working on his transition from player to coach.

5) I got a new phone! This is big because I lost all my phone numbers when I upgraded. So...I don't have your phone number. Send me a text with your number and address.
Thanks! Here's a pic of our home in Saint George. I miss it. I miss our neighbors (Mahi's and Andreson's). But this little move is so worth it!!
We're paving the way and paying the price for our family's destiny!

Bite Me

I've been bitten! We were staying at our friends' (Kai & John) home and she had the movie Twilight. I wasn't so interested in reading the books because I thought it would be juvenille. To my surprise, Sape watched it first and liked it! I watched it and loved it! I watched it twice that same night. I had to read the books the next day. Good thing Kai had her books.

I then recommended another friend (Tiare) to watch it and she loved it too! We stayed at our friend's cabin (Angela & Brian) and watched the movie in their theatre room and Angela was bitten too! (Thanks Lewis' for letting us hang out with ya'll this weekend).

I'm almost done reading the 4th book called Breaking Dawn. I'm taking my time to read the last few chapters, because I'm bummed there's nothing else to read after this. I believe New Moon is coming out in November. What are we to read till then? One of my goals is to read 2-3 books a month. So far I'm doing great. Here's some of the books I've read this year:

2) Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover (I swear this guy must've worked for Primerica cause he teaches what we do...Get out of debt, save money, get educated with finances, protect your family with term ins, have a financial plan, etc)

5) Eclipse

Pay It Forward

I had so much fun assisting people today! We're staying at the Carvalho's AGAIN (we offered to pay rent), I haven't even seen Leina and we've been here for 2 nights! Anyway, we started our day helping Hana with her couponing. We visited Smiths and Albertsons. Her total was $157 and she only paid $48! She was so excited!

Next, we assisted Tala with Primerica and helped her earn a whopping 4600 points on her scoreboard, plus, at the end of this weekend she'll have almost 15000 points! These points are important cause she'll be able to earn a 20% bonus once she's licensed! I love Primerica! We help so many families with their total money makeovers and we help people become leaders. It's awesome to be part of a crusade to help families change their lives and generations to come.

We had an appointment with Giordan to help a young couple, 18 yrs old. I can't get specific, but we showed them that if they saved $100 a month, at age 65 they'd have aprox $4 mill saved tax free for retirement!! How's that?! If I told you that when you were 18 would you listen? Hopefully you're doing what it takes to get ahead for your family, if not you better call me. The governement's social security isn't going to get you that luxurious retirement you want, and you will NOT win the lotto either.

After that we came home and I was hurting. My back is acting up again since I rode 'wicked' at Lagoon this past summer. I'll visit my chiro again.

My last visit was with Hine. Her family is awesome and they remind me of her when she was little. It's so nice to get in touch with hanabatta friends. Anyway, I taught her the coupon thing too and we went on a field trip to Smiths. She got $65.62 worth of groceries and she paid $22.86! Check her blog if ya don't believe me. LOL. She was so funny and shy about couponing, but now that's she's seen the "miracle", I'm sure she'll share it with everyone. That's what we did. The young couple behind us (who waited patiently as we did 5 separate transactions) was impressed with our savings, I got their number!

So tomorrow I plan on calling this couple and helping them too. My career is to help families get out of debt, become properly protected, and financially free. Isn't that what everyone wants? I would hope so, but not everyone is ready for a total money makeover. IF you are call me. I feel like I'm paying it forward if I can help one person who in turn helps another.

Whew, that was an incredible day and tomorrow looks even better! I didn't even mention the great calls from friends today! I'm learning to step out of my comfy zone to help others and in return I am blessed.

Do it till it's done

I'm missing being home. We've been driving back and forth to Salt Lake city (a 4 hour drive from Saint George) every week! We're crashing at friends homes (thank you so much Carvalho's and Olevao's!). I miss my bed. I miss my kitties and puppy. I miss my little community of friends. I miss home. But it's worth it.
We're helping one family at a time to change their lives for the better. The current economic downturn has made people realize that their jobs and their financial positions are not as strong as they'd thought. I love educating families about how money works and how doing things as simple as getting out of debt, protecting their families with life insurance, and saving for retirement and other goals will pay off. I think that this saturday night live video clip is hilarious but so true for Americans. Hope you laugh, but take this seriously.
Sometimes, life changing events come from the simplest things. Here's what I'm preaching & probably what your grandma taught ya too: get out of debt, protect your family, save money.
If you want to live the life others don't, do the things others won't. We know that we're exchanging/sacrificing little things now so that we can have a lifestyle that most people don't have. We're evolving and having a wonderful time doing this together. We find that those who mocked us a year ago are now congratulating us on opening a northern Utah office. I think that with the more success you have the more critics you'll have as well. I admire all of you who are successful. Who broke free from the "normal" pack and made the decision to change.
We have a friend who signed a 100 million dollar contract with 41 million dollars to be guaranteed. For the average normal (broke) person, that'd be like hitting the lottery five times and accomplishing their dreams. For him it was an amazing accomplishment to reach his goal, but now he's re-evaluated and set his new goals to be even higher in achievement, not just finances.
Set your goals high. Do what it takes to win. Do what others are not willing to do. Winners do it until its done, and then they do it again. Be educated. Consider the risks, and then act quickly. Do you want the next five years to be like the last five years? If not, change. We'll support you. We know it's scary, but its way more exciting to worry about the little obstacles along the way. No one ever makes a difference or becomes successful from not saying anything or doing anything. God created us to make a positive difference in our lives and the lives of others.
